Full Job Description

The Worship Leader assists in all of these areas while helping people get connected through meaningful worship experiences.
This part-time (30 hrs per week) key position at our San Diego campus will have responsibilities in the following areas:
Weekend Services
Develop creative services that are relevant to the target culture/community
Duties include song selection, creative direction, and all experiential elements (audio, video, lighting, testimonies, etc.)
Pastoral Care
Grow worship teams and the church body in their expression of worship
Provide specific pastoral care for each person that is serving in the worship ministry
Lead the worship team as a small group
Volunteer Development
Recruit, develop, and oversee a program for growing volunteers in their understanding of worship and their musical abilities.
Administration
Administer weekly worship team meetings
Participate in monthly staff meetings and regular A/V meetings
Use Planning Center to input order of worship and song selection
Manage all invoices for musicians and organize weekly rehearsals
Candidates must have experience leading larger audiences in worship experiences, have demonstrated creative programming, and have a desire to develop a volunteer team.
