Full Job Description
The teacher will be responsible for instructing third grade in all of the core subject areas, including Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Spelling, Handwriting, and Religion.
Duties include creating and carrying out lesson plans following the ADW standards and objectives, meeting individual needs, lunch and dismissal tasks, preparing and assisting with Scantron testing, and collaborating with the intermediate teacher team. The homeroom duties include attendance, supervision in the mornings, afternoons, and before and after lunch/recess.
It also includes character education lessons and parent communication.
