The Church of the Redeemer, Presbyterian, located at 1423 Girard St, NE, Washington, DC, is seeking a new part-time Minister of Music. This position requires expertise in directing a small choir and piano and organ accompaniment with knowledge of classical, gospel, & spiritual styles. As our worship services are still partly remote, applicants should be proficient with basic technology skills, and a working knowledge of Zoom, YouTube, and other Internet-based platforms. Responsibilities include providing leadership in music ministry, planning music for weekly worship services in consultation with the pastor and worship committee and directing weekly choir practices and worship. Salary is negotiable based on experience and background.
