JOB SUMMARY: The Compliance and Reporting Associate develops high-quality reports for new and recurring grants and contracts; manages all compliance requirements and documentation; performs active donor cultivation and stewardship activities and conducts ongoing prospect research. The position is a part of a team responsible for raising $12 million through submitting over 300 proposals and reports annually. The place works closely with Program, Finance, and Human Resources staff to create accurate and complete funder reports; maintains a reporting calendar and database
updates; and identifies new funding opportunities that promote the agency’s mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all renewal and post-award process aspects to support grant compliance and management, including gathering and preparing comprehensive compliance documentation for administrative review and meetings.
a. Ensure all reports and compliance documentation are accurate, including budgets that meet funders’ specific requirements and submitted on or before the due date.
b. Edit, assemble and submit report packages to current donors, including narrative text, financial statements, and acknowledgment letters.
c. Partner with the finance team in organizing and leading grant award kick-off meetings with Program staff.
d. Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure all
parties are aware of reporting/compliance requirements and deadlines.
In partnership with Finance and Program staff, coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate submission of financial reports, including budgets/invoices for contracts and grants. Ensure ongoing accuracy of budgets by organizing and
leading regular check-in meetings with Finance and Program staff to ensure funds are fully expended during the designated grant period.
Oversee the agency’s Contracts and Grants Tracker, ensuring all information is included and up to date. Partner with the team to ensure all appropriate documentation is uploaded in Raiser’s Edge and shared drive.
Support business development activities by conducting prospect research and creating prospect profiles for lapsed and potential new donors.
Manage the creation, completion, and compilation of proposal attachments, cover sheets, and other supporting documents.
Support writing of grant proposals as needed during busy times of the year.
Conduct subject-matter research for specific needs statements and standard organizational text.
Represent Catholic Charities and engage in donor stewardship activities as appropriate.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field.
Four (4) years of work experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.

SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:
Detail-oriented and organized self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet multiple concurrent deadlines.
Ability to communicate the organization’s mission, vision and goals, and objectives
to staff, donors, and other stakeholders.
