The mission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington is to spread the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. In the faithful pursuit of this mission, Holy Trinity Catholic Church is seeking a Coordinator of Youth Ministry.
Holy Trinity is seeking a dynamic, inviting, and enthusiastic youth minister to join our pastoral staff. The Youth Minister provides primary leadership for the design, implementation, and evaluation of parish ministry to our middle school and high school youth. The candidate selected for this position needs to be able to dialogue and connect well with young people and families, and have the ability to understand their spiritual needs and current experiences.
The youth minister will focus on relational ministry with high school youth, involving elements of religious catechesis, acts of charity and advocacy of social justice, prayer and spirituality, and leadership development. The youth minister will also coordinate and lead preparation for youth in the parish who intend to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. Other responsibilities include recruiting and training youth-aged and adult volunteers, administrative tasks, and collaborating with parish ministries and programs, such as Holy Trinity School and the Holy Trinity Religious Education program.
Candidates must be a practicing Catholic in good standing and an active member of a Roman Catholic parish faith community. She or he must have a Bachelor's Degree in any field of study, a background in and knowledge of Catholic theology and ministry, as well as organizational, technological, and interpersonal skills. Experience in campus ministry or youth ministry is essential.
This is a full-time, salaried position. Evening and weekend work are regularly required.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
