Responsibilities

They manage the church office, handle the administrative and communication responsibilities, and provide a wide range of support to the pastor and staff.

The Parish Administrator also represents the church by serving as the first point of contact for inquiries from the public.

Communications (70%): assemble/create/post/produce external communications, including weekly bulletins, website updates, outdoor banners, brochures, bulletin boards, congregational mailings, et

Administration (30%): process mail, facilitate bill payment with the Treasurer, answer emails/phone, order supplies, maintain member database and files

Note: Denominational best practices encourage the hiring of Parish Administrators or another office/admin/support staff from outside the membership of the congregation

Benefits

This is a part-time position, not to exceed 20 hours/week, currently budgeted for $20,000 annually

Pay: $20,000.00 per year
