JOB SUMMARY: Responds in a timely manner to requests for medical records information and ensures accuracy of adoption filing system. Must be able to interact appropriately with all consumers and staff. Partners with others to pursue outcomes identified by programs and their staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the day-to-day operations of Medical Records. Act as the FERC (Facility Emergency Response Coordinator). Provides administrative supervision of up to 5 volunteers. Provide administrative support to department management. Respond to requests and authorizations for medical records within 48 hours of receipt and scan documents within 24 hours of receiving. Maintain adoption files.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous medical records experienced required. Previous customer service experience preferred.
