Racism and racial inequity are present in our education system at every level. Students of color are faced with numerous hurdles to their academic success and over time those hurdles compound and create long lasting impact and inequity in schools and throughout our communities.
How can we change that? What can we as individuals and as a strong group of white women do to create real change to the structural and systemic racism that exists in our education system in Minnesota?
If you are seeking answers to these questions, join us on August 20 for our third in-person event of 2022!
Mastermind Meetup: Antiracism Conversations is a great opportunity for white women committed to anti-racism work to connect with others and brainstorm ways we can effect change. You will have the opportunity to meet new people and learn from experienced activists.
Our goal is to create meaningful and progressive conversations about how you can help create communities to be proud of, while challenging the systemic issues that we know are present in our culture. This meetup is a space for learning, growth, and inspiration, so come ready to be motivated and energized!
This is our first event that open to all parents, educators or anyone wanting to be involved with anti-racism in education.
