Administrative Support

  • Executing mailing and print communications
  • Reaching out to donors with missed credit card payments
  • Supporting ongoing development initiatives for school and parish
  • Processing and tracking campaign-specific giving
  • Supporting Stewardship, Endowment, and Memorial giving activities
  • Moderating parish development calendar

Database Support

  • Inputting and updating constituent data
  • Compiling and organizing donor giving and reporting data
  • Collaborating with database manager to improve standing processes and systems, including assisting with the development of a School alumni database
  • Supporting Church ministry data tracking

Miscellaneous Support

  • Availability with a team mindset supporting the programs and functions of OLG as is prudent and fits according to prior responsibilities and commitments
  • Advancement Assistant is primarily responsible in serving the needs for the OLG Advancement Department and may be available to serve the broader OLG community based on availability

Special Events Coordination

Collaborating with parish leadership to develop a vision and create a plan for school and church fundraising and special events within Advancement
Overseeing and directing the event planning process
Coordinating resources and staffing for hospitality and other event needs
Particular emphasis on major fundraising initiatives including (but not limited to): Parish Stewardship Campaign, AOM Capital Campaign activities, School Campaigns (i.e. Marathon, Give-to-the-Max, Annual Campaign), Ghana OLAG RISE & SHINE Scholarship Program event, OLG Men’s Club Gala, and various annual or individual church and school fundraising activities
 

  • Other members of the OLG Advancement team would be available to lend their expertise and services to accommodate required workflow.
  • Through monitoring and evaluation, metrics will be established. Specific work requested could be adjusted based on need and reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
4-year college degree is preferred
Must live a life and possess values consistent with the organization’s mission and vision
Experience with administrative tasks, scheduling, and time management are required
Experience with database tools and analytics. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge/ChMS donor management preferred.
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical and reporting skills’
Demonstrable computer proficiency in Office, (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe, Eventbrite
Knowledge and ability to establish budgets for special events.
Must be tech savvy and invested in uncovering tools that would improve job output.
Excellent listening and communications skills with a natural curiosity
Possess strong oral and written communication skills
The capacity to clearly comprehend and communicate Our Lady of Grace’s mission
VIRTUS completed and up to date within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis
Some evenings and weekends as required, with attendance at OLG weekend Mass once a month.
Prior experience in a not for profit, or similar organization preferred

Physical Demands

Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week

Must be able to work long hours when the position demands
Ability to use equipment necessary for the position
Ability to attend required church and school evening and weekend meetings and/or events
