DESCRIPTION

The Communications Support Specialist will work as a member of the Communications and Advancement Team. Position duties include, but are not limited to, the development, creation and editing of printed and digital content for publication and display. These deliverables are intended to support the overall mission and vision of the church and to execute strategic communications and advancement goals and objectives of the parish.

You will have the opportunity to pitch ideas and creatives, execute projects and see their impact on the parish community!

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications/Skills

  • Experience with design programs preferred (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Knowledge and experience using social media platforms.
  • Proven ability and desire to work in a collaborative, team-based work environment.
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Understanding of applications and platforms required to perform job duties.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Catholic faith and terminology.
  • Must be able to pass an archdiocesan background check.
