Purpose of Position:
Support the vision, mission, and values of The Basilica of Saint Mary through the strategic use of technology and data management in Blackbaud, Outlook, and Google Suites. Manage data integrity and security and provide customer support and training to staff. Anticipate technology needs and assist with planning and budgeting for upgrades and additions.

Salary range $50,000 - $58,000, commensurate with experience.

Primary Functions / Duties and Major Activities

Serve as Administrator of Blackbaud software including Raiser’s Edge NXT (database), Luminate Online (interactive communications /web portal) and Financial Edge (accounting software); Outlook (email, personal and facilities scheduling); and Google Suites.

Anticipate technology needs, assist with annual budget planning and serve as liaison with tech vendors
Maintain data integrity and institute and manage policies to ensure data security
Schedule software upgrades and assist with testing and troubleshooting of rollouts.
Serve as Outlook Scheduling Administrator and train new users on Outlook calendar for purpose of scheduling Basilica rooms and equipment.
Collaborate with the Basilica Facilities Team and assist with management of technology assets
Build relationships and rapport with staff, Department teams and Directors to understand their technology needs and workflows and provide training and Help Desk support for Blackbaud software, Outlook and Google

QUALIFICATIONS

Position Qualifications:
Required
 

  • Extensive experience with CRM database management and communication software, including work with queries, exports, reports, and global changes. Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT and Luminate Online preferred, or comparable experience with other software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, their inter-related functions, solids skills with Outlook and Google Suites.
  • Background in customer service. Help Desk support experience a plus.
  • Teaching and coaching skills to provide classroom and one-on-one training for staff and volunteers with a clear, easy-to-understand, collaborative and “can do” training style. Experience creating useful training and process documents and “how to” videos.
  • Strong problem solving and resource management skills. Ability to anticipate issues, assess priorities and find answers.
  • Planning skills to anticipate and complete data projects and upgrades on-time and accurately.
  • Ability to set and enforce data entry and usage standards amongst all users.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative environment.

Preferred
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CRM administrator experience with conceptualizing complete data storage strategies, importing, managing security rights and access, setting and maintaining consistent data entry standards.
  • Familiarity and experience with volunteer management and development record keeping including solicitation and gift tracking concepts and processes.
  • Previous development and / or volunteer management experience in a non-profit setting.
