Saint Helena is now accepting applications for an energetic and hard working Kindergarten teacher who is responsible for the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical development of our Kindergarten students. Applicants must be able to deliver engaging, well-planned, instructional lessons in language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and religion. Candidates should have strong written and verbal language skills.
Applicants should be a practicing Catholic who is a joyful witness to the faith in daily life, a collaborative teacher who seeks the good of the whole, a life-long learner, strong in classroom management, and someone who cares deeply about the well-being of children.
Saint Helena has a rich, 95 year history of educating South Minneapolis youth. We serve a diverse student population in preschool through eighth grade and have one class per grade. Saint Helena is located in a beautiful part of the city with big trees, green grass, and one of the most beautiful churches in the Archdiocese. We are surrounded and supported by a strong, faith filled community.
QUALIFICATIONS
A valid Minnesota Teaching License (preferred)
A commitment to working in partnership with parents, colleagues, administration and students.
Experience with literacy, Believe & Read experience is a bonus.
