Position Summary: Facilitate the implementation of the Synod through the nurturing of relationships with parishes and implementation partners, planning and executing large events, and taking care of many details.

Essential Functions of the Position:
Works under the direction of the Director of Synod Evangelization, working closely with the Assistant Director of Synod Evangelization to attend to the logistics involved in implementing the Synod Priorities.
Facilitates relationships and coordinates the day-to-day activities involved with partners in the Synod Priorities (e.g. Catechetical Institute).
Serves as point person in planning and executing the key events put on by the Office of Synod Evangelization.
Responds to questions posed by parishes regarding the Synod Implementation process.
In conjunction with Assistant Director of Synod Evangelization, prepares agendas for Archdiocesan Synod Implementation Team, which consists of volunteers, parish staff and Archdiocesan Staff.

Ability to plan and execute large events
Keen attention to detail
Excellent communications skills
Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite of programs and on-line registration applications
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
Experience in planning events of more than 100 people or more
College degree preferred
Experience working in a parish or Catholic organization environment preferred
Spanish language skills preferred
