Representative responsibilities:
Publish our weekly communication medias for both our church and school including bulletin, eNews, Weekender, and website updates
Create livestream graphics and links for all Masses and streamed events
Edit audio content for weekly homily podcast
Collect church and school stories from a variety of individuals and either edit/re-write or ghostwrite their stories for use in a different medium
Administrative support duties as needed and upon request
Collaborate with your extended team: Director of Advancement, Advancement Assistant, and other Marketing Communications Specialists
Engage and collaborate with volunteers
Assist in the development of marketing materials for the Parish and School
Assist special events volunteer teams (and volunteers) with the communications for the Men’s Club Annual Gala, OLG School Marathon, Give to the Max, anniversary celebration(s) for the school and parish, and additional events
Attend Parish, School, and community events to record, photograph, establish and build relationships with key parishioners (e.g. – families, parents, grandparents, alumni, community leaders)
Work with volunteers and staff to photograph, record, write up events as they happen
Serve as a collaborative member of a dynamic Parish and School staff
Be present, ready to work and on time for all scheduled hours
Presence at an Our Lady of Grace Mass is sometimes required. This position should be present at a weekend Mass one-time per month

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

4-year college degree desired, but required to have the skills necessary for the position
Must live a life and possess values consistent with the organization’s mission and vision
The capacity to clearly comprehend and communicate Our Lady of Grace’s mission
Must be tech savvy and invested in uncovering tools that would improve job output
Excellent listening and communications skills with a natural curiosity
Demonstrable computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, JotForm, email service providers (Constant Contact and/or MailChimp) and other digital tools
Possess strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner
VIRTUS completed and up-to-date within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis
Some evenings and weekends as required
Prior experience in a non-profit or similar organization preferred
