The Pastoral Associate of Elementary Faith Formation is the primary person on the parish staff providing comprehensive Faith Formation that is educational, pastoral and spiritual to the children in grades kindergarten through 5th grade and their families. This includes the following:
- develop and manage comprehensive training for catechists and volunteers for grades k through 5th grade including recruiting, training, supporting and supervising.
- develop, implement, manage and evaluate curriculum for small and large group sessions.
- develop, implement and manage a prayer and worship plan for k through 5th grade.
- develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive RCIC program.
- coordinate and supervise classes and activities for k through 5th grade.
- secure text books and teaching supplies.
supervise building and parking lot while classes/activities are in prgress.
- responsible for Elementary Faith Formation budget.
develop, implement and comprehensive a First Reconciliation and First Eucharist program.
- ensure all volunteers who participate in the Elementary Faith Formation program have completed Virtus/Essential 3 program and all youth have completed required video.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Pastoral Associate of Faith Formation will have:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Elementary Faith Formation Education or related field.
- Ability to effectively work with both children and adults in developing, implementing, and managing youth work.
- Successful completion of required comprehensive background check.
