This person is responsible for setting the tone for the facility, managing the curriculum, overseeing physical facilities, hiring staff, and managing the overall image of the program. To ensure compliance with all local and federal laws governing child care, both in regard to the physical environment and the staff, scheduling, and managing the admissions and enrollment process of the child care facility in a manner consistent with our OLP Mission Statement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Active, practicing Catholic.
All licensed teachers are required to have the required number of renewal credits per five-year teaching period for certificate renewal as state law mandates. All teaching certificates must be current.
Teachers are expected to provide any other information/requirements necessary to renew certificates.

Ability to learn and implement new education strategies
Ability to manage and maintain staff effectively
Ability to take direction from the Principal/Assistant Principal effectively to complete new programs, processes and procedures as directed.
Able to pass required background checks and complete required initial training.
Complete VIRTUS training.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education
