PURPOSE OF POSITION
At the Urban Refuge, we "strive to be a compassion-filled church for the people of South Minneapolis." We believe that this must be done with care, commitment, and intentionality.
The purpose of the Service Producer is to provide collaborative leadership and active management of the production of the weekend services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and facilitate the weekly church services at Urban Refuge Church.
- Lead and communicate with a team of volunteers to run sound, lights, slides, lyrics, etc.
- Collaborate with staff members to produce a quality weekly worship experience both in person and online.
- Recruit and train a constant flow of volunteers.
- Identify, communicate and resolve logistic/execution issues with the production team.
- Update all weekend services in Planning Center.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Demonstrated leadership experience recruiting and leading a team
- Experience in working in a church or other non-profit work environment
- Ability to pass background check
- Technical Proficiency working with sound, lighting and other aspects of service production
