About
America's oldest Lutheran congregation (not church building) - we are a small multi-ethnic worship community that gathers around the Word and Sacrament - the Means of Grace by which God reaches out to us in creating and sustaining believing faith. In the unfolding of the ancient Worship Liturgy God calls his people to delight in his presence, to "eat and drink" of the gifts he freely offers to all who are poor in spirit, wherein there is the forgiveness of sins. In response, we offer up our sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord, who is worthy to be praised.
A member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. All are welcome!
