About
Since its inception in the mid-1700s among German immigrants, St. Paul's has been sharing the light of Christ with the community in Amityville. Virtually every day of the week the church is "hopping" with activity, providing safe space for a number of civic and community groups. St. Paul's has a strong Christian education program featuring a staff of about 30 volunteer Sunday School teachers who share the Christian faith with students from 2 to 92, including five adult classes. St Paul's also is engaged in the world in both local and global missions. The church is also known for its turkey suppers in November and April and its peach festival in August.
