Job Description
Our ideal candidate will provide Administrative and Bookkeeping services. Proficiency in both QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. This will include general day to day office operations, database management, journal entries, reconciliation of G/L, preparation of financial statements, process ADP payroll, and carry out bank deposits.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain financials and payroll for St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church.
  • Assists in the preparation and execution of the yearly budget under the supervision of the Parish Council.
  • Prepares reports as requested including but not limited to quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Coordinate with Parish Priest and Parish Council to provide reporting of donated funds and Church income through various activities in the master database.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, PayPal, and Square.
  • Manages, Receivables, Payables, processes and pays Invoices.
  • Assist Parish Priest and Parish Council in setting appointments, correspondence, weekly program and monthly newsletter.
  • Present a friendly, accommodating, and professional atmosphere when greeting guests and answering phones while always maintaining confidentiality.
  • Social Media updates weekly or as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in General Office Administration and Bookkeeping. Nonprofit or church experience a plus.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Database experience, i.e., Excel, Parish Data System, Payroll, Donations.
  • Proficient with spelling, grammar and posting on social media.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • 4 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends
