ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Manage calendar for Executive Pastor of Creative Arts and schedules and organizes meetings for all members of the department utilizing current software or database applications, as requested
2. Oversee creative planning timeline and schedule
3. Maintain team database and track volunteers, ensuring information is current and accurate
4. Create and maintain project plans in project management software
5. Type, design, and distribute general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, forms, procedures, etc. Proofread copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy
6. Establish, develop, maintain and update filing system for the Executive Pastor of Creative Arts and the department. Retrieve information from files as needed
7. Manage billing and payment processes for department. Order supplies and prepare items needed for weekend services at all campuses
8. Maintain departmental licenses and oversee weekly CCLI song reporting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of administrative experience
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and in written form
  • Thorough, detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Collaboration skills, teamwork orientation
  • Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal
  • statement of SVCC

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree
  • Four or more years of related experience
