YES you heard right, we are headed to Kauai, Hawaii for our first ever Young Adults Retreat!

Get excited for this restful weekend spent on the tropical island of Kauai. Home to some of the world's most beautiful beaches and landscapes, we are going to take some time away to meet with Jesus, build incredible relationships, and have some adventures.

Our hope is that this will be a refreshing weekend, both physically and spiritually, as we deepen our faith and grow closer with those we do life within San Diego.

We will have opportunities to go on amazing hikes, see some cool waterfalls, and lounge on dreamy Hawaiian beaches.

Throughout the weekend, you can expect worship sessions, encouraging messages, and times to meet with Jesus. And of course, plenty of downtime to explore or relax.

When? The retreat will begin the night of Thursday, August 18, 2022, through Sunday, August 21st.

Where? Kauai Christian Fellowship on Kauai, Hawaii.

FAQs

Do I need to buy my own flights? Yes. Please purchase your own flights to attend this retreat. Here are a few airlines we recommend that usually have the best deals.

Do I need to rent a car or will someone pick me up from the airport? It is unlikely we will be able to accommodate each person as they arrive on Thursday, so please make arrangements to either rent a car OR order a taxi. The drive from the Lihue airport to KCF is only about 20 minutes. However, Uber is not common on Kauai, so do not expect to find an Uber or Lyft. You'll have to order a taxi or rent a car.

Can I come early or stay late? Most definitely! If you have the time, Kauai is an amazing place to explore and you need more than 3 days to really see it. You are free to come early or stay late, but please do not expect to be able to use the same accommodations as the retreat center. Everything will need to be booked someplace else.

What is included in the $175 retreat cost?

This cost will include a room for you, food for the entirety of the retreat, transportation during the retreat, and other amenities or excursions as needed.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

We are currently set to stay in the Anchor House, a bible school on Kauai. However, in the rare event, this space is not 100% able to host us (due to a final permit requirement), we will be staying in tents on the property. Each tent will have an air mattress to accommodate you for the weekend. We will be using all the amenities of the retreat space (bathrooms, showers, etc) but sleeping in tents. Once we get closer to August, we will have more information on where exactly you will be staying, but either way, it's going to be a good good time! Don't worry :)

Where do I fly into?

Please fly into Lihue, Hawaii (LIH).

This is going to be a GOOD time.
