Kids at Canyon Springs Church will learn more about God's creativity through Vacation Bible School 2022. This school is set to start on Jun. 20 through Jun. 24 at Spark Studios. 

VBS, Beautiful Truth 

According to the Canyon Springs website, through Vacation Bible School, 2022, kids will discover that the Lord's creativity did not stop in Genesis. They will see the beautiful truth that they are God's workmanship. 

Moreover, they will discover how to utilize their talents to bring glory to the Lord. According to the church, the Vacation Bible School will run from June 20 – June 24. It will be from 9 a.m. – noon every day. 

Canyon Springs Church aims to spark imagination and level up kids' creativity at Spark Spark Studio. The target participants for VBS are preschool-aged, three years and potty trained through fifth grade. 

Participants will be engaged in a variety of activities. They will rotate with their age group to different stations – snack, craft, song, story, and recreation. 

The VBS program also offers scholarships. Canyon Springs Church provided details on how to avail of the scholarship.

The VBS is also scheduled for a trip to Mexico. As announced on the church's website, the fun and outreach continue by sending "VBS" to Mexico. 

The Missions Ministry at Canyon Springs offers something to all. Canyon Springs Church wants to provide opportunities for all to GO and Be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

Volunteers Needed 

Vacation Bible School needs volunteers. The VBS program will only be possible through the help and commitment of volunteers. According to its webpage, Canyon Springs Church provides many opportunities to help young and adult volunteers. 

Canyon Springs Church

This community of believers is a member of the Evangelical Covenant denomination. Canyon Springs Church is located in the Scripps Ranch community of San Diego. Jack Hawkins is the founder and lead pastor of Canyon Springs Church.  

Pastor Hawkings established this church in 1998. Together with the church's team of pastors and staff, Hawkins led this congregation in knowing and following Jesus. 

Worship happens on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. This congregation meets in Thurgood Marshall Middle School at 9700 Avenue of Nations, San Diego. 

Canyon Springs's mission is "It's about the one." It won't find peace and purpose until its relationship with the One Jesus Christ is fulfilled. As stated on its web page, Canyon Springs does not stop there when its relationship with Jesus is established.

Social Justice at Canyon Springs

According to its webpage, the church condemns all forms of racism. Canyon Springs Church condemns white supremacy as a philosophy in line with this. 

Moreover, it condemns abuses of power by the police and the use of excessive force that endangered the lives of black people and communities.

Canyon Springs Church, through its webpage, expressed its gratitude to police offers that serve and protect families fairly.
