Canyon Springs to hold VBS 2022: Spark

This summer, kids at Canyon Springs will discover that God’s creativity did not stop in Genesis.

The church cannot wait to spark their imagination and start their creativity at a higher level on their Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2022: Sparks Studios with the theme Created in Christ, Designed for God’s purpose from June 20 to June 24 at Christ the Cornerstone Academy.

The church website noted that God, the Master Artist, is working to retrieve, reclaim, and change His creation to the design He plans for His people. They added that the children would witness the wonderful truth that they are God’s masterpiece. They would also know how to use their talents to bring glory to God.

The announcement posted said the event is for children ages three years old and potty trained to fifth grade. It would be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day.

Prices vary depending on the date of registration, as the website mentioned.

Church Welcomes Volunteers

Meanwhile, the church also posted that their VBS event would be impossible without the help of their volunteers and dedication. Still, they are open to volunteer opportunities for both adults and youth.

They added that those interested could assist them both during and before the VBS. These include preparing crafts, helping with check-ins, and setting up or tearing down.

They would also need individuals who could coordinate with their t-shirt orders and much more. Those who wish to join the team can register on the same webpage.

VBS Mexico Trip

The Missions Ministry of Canyon Springs Church will also hold VBS Mexico on June 25 to continue fun and outreach to their friends in Mexico.

The website posted that the church knows God wants to send them into the world to make disciples.

They said God commanded them to go, whether down the street, in the city, across, or halfway across the globe.

The church emphasized that they want to give an opportunity for individuals to go and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Christ, Cornerstone Academy

Canyon Springs VBS happens at Christ the Cornerstone Academy.

The school provides high-quality Christian education for preschoolers, as posted on the Academy’s website.

They noted that they help parents raise and enrich their kids' lives through their caring program.

They added that they have the choice to enroll their kids in a half-day or full-day class either two days, three days, or five days a week.

The academy also highlighted that its program is for two to four-year-olds. They added that it was created to give a fair educational experience and a nurturing Christian venue for kids through five years of age.

Their staff would provide opportunities for a kid's intellectual, emotional, physical, and creative development. They would also value the importance of moderate growth.

They also give priority to the social and spiritual maturity of their students.

The same website added that the Board of Christian Education decided to use the Abeke Christian curriculum and the Concordia Religion series to accomplish the academy’s goal.
