Christ Community Church’s (CCC)members, led by Pastor Darrell Dunlap, will hold Israel Trip 2022 from May 11 to May 21.

The church website highlighted that members joining the said trip would have the chance to go to the land where Jesus walked, died, and rose again. They posted that the total cost of the said travel is $4,035. Participants could also visit the payment plan on the church’s website.

Israel Pack 2022

According to the Trip’s Information Pack, the trip includes a round trip airfare and the airport taxes and surcharges.  They would also provide tips for guides, drivers, and hotel staff. Participants would enjoy staying in Israel’s Leonardo Art Hotel in Tel Aviv, Leonardo Club Hotel in Tiberias, and Leonardo Hotel in Jerusalem.

Members would experience a full Israeli breakfast and dinner on this package during the ten-day trip. They would have toured in a deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach with a licensed English speaker to guide them.

They noted that they included the entrance fees to sites per itinerary and the porterage and service charges at hotels in the package. Besides, they would also give headsets and have a farewell dinner.

On the other hand,  the website also reminded participants that travel insurance is not part of the package. They highly suggest that members should avail of this at an additional cost. Personal expenses and anything not posted is also not included, as mentioned on the website.

Land Where Jesus Walked

The Trip’s Information Pack also mentioned the places they would visit, which are related to the journey of Jesus Christ. Their first stop is at Jaffa, also known in the Bible as Joppa. This place is considered the oldest port and the area where Jonah set sail for Tarshish. They added that Jaffa is related to the journey of Peter, where he resurrected Tabitha. From Jaffa, he went to Caesarea to convert Cornelius.

From May 13 to May 14, CCC members and Pastor Dunlap would visit the Sea of Galilee. They start their day with a short tour of Tel Aviv through Sharon plaint Caesarea. They noted that this place was the seat of the Roman Procurator of the Judea in Jesus' time and the place where Peter converted centurion Cornelius.

On May 14, they would have a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee and visit the Ancient Boat, calculated to be from the time of Jesus. They would see Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus spoke on the Sermon of the Mount.

On that same day, they would drop by Capernaum, the place where Jesus stayed after leaving Nazareth. The guide also mentioned that Jesus appointed his first disciples in Capernaum.

They emphasized that travelers would spend their time in Jerusalem from Day six to ten. They would drive through the Jordan Valley and see the Jericho, which they believed to be the world’s ancient walled city.

Participants would also climb Mount Olives to see the breathtaking view of the ancient city of Jerusalem. Then they would have the opportunity to walk along the Palm Sunday Way to the Garden of Gethsemane. Lastly, they end their tour at the Garden Tomb on their tenth day.
