City View Church to host date night fundraiser on Valentine's Day

The Culture Youth and leaders of City View Church will hold a date night fundraiser on Tuesday, Feb.14.

The church’s website announced that the collected funds would proceed to sponsor students to a youth convention. They noted that the program is welcome for those who want to have a night out with their spouse or just want to have alone time.

Besides, they said that they prepared movies, playtime, and snacks like pizza. They added that they would provide childcare so parents could enjoy the evening.

Culture Youth 

In another section, City View Church noted that they created Culture Yout to develop students to level up the culture and impact San Diego. It is focused on assisting grade six to twelve students as they start their journey, as stated on the website.

Moreover, they mentioned that they want the students to understand that they do not have to walk alone. The church established an environment for teenagers to connect with others.

As further stated, they offer practical related ways to continue to follow Jesus and mature in their faith daily. 

More importantly, the church that Pastor Tim Smith leads, Culture Youth as they meet every Wednesday night in the Student Center. Besides, they announced that they have a Pre-party at 6:16 p.m. and play sports like Basketball, Soccer, and more. 

Then, they said that they start their worship service at 6:30 p.m. 

Youth Convention

Meanwhile, in another section, City View Church announced that the Youth Convention would be held from April 28 to April 30 at the San Diego Marriott in Mission Valley Convention Center. 

In addition, they said that it would be a three-day gathering with thousands of other youth from across Southern California. Also, they noted that there would be worship time and breakout sessions. 

According to the website, there would be after-parties like pool time. They emphasized that it would be an unforgettable weekend for the teenagers.

Parents' Date

The Power of Positivity website revealed that individuals might find themselves alone when they set aside their marriage to concentrate on their children, job, and all the things they need to do. 

They noted that therapists advised parents to go on a date night weekly because social isolation could destroy them. 

As further stressed, date nights could make couples feel connected. They explained that when they schedule a date night, it allows them to talk about everything that is happening in their life. 

Moreover, they emphasized that they must have a time when everything is all about them and their relationship. 

They added that most couples just give each other a quick goodbye kiss in the morning and then return to a house of troubles with dinner, household chores, and children. 

The website mentioned a few moments to devote to one another’s needs. 

More importantly, they said connecting to their spouse is more than romance. They stated that there should be communication on a spiritual level if they want their marriage to last and work.
