Faith Community Church to hold Summer Play

Faith Community Church encourages members to join them on Summer Play Dates for families to enjoy and bond through Thursday activities starting on June 16.

In the church’s announcement, they noted that their first destination would be Civita Park. They could meet at the upper playground, the church posted.

Besides, they stated that they would visit fun places in San Diego, such as parks, splash pads, and the Bay. They would also go to the zoo during the summer. They added that they are anticipating everyone to participate in their gatherings as this is considered part of their Faith Kids events.

Civita Park

The Times of San Diego reported on August 26, 2020, that they had completed the final phases of Civita Park, Mission Valley’s largest park. They added that the said open space is already available to the public.

They added four acres of colorful playgrounds and areas for games. The report stated that they also put ornamental gardens and open lawns in the 14.3-acre park. Sudberry Properties announced the said completion.

They have made the aforementioned park the centerpiece of Civita. The news noted that the open space is a sustainable, transit-oriented village of about 5,000 houses and apartments on a former sand and gravel quarry.

“We’re excited to replace a barren quarry with a beautiful park that many generations will enjoy,” said Marco Sessa, the Senior Vice President of Sudberry. He added in his interview that Civita being around a central unifying park was crucial to the Grant family. They are proud that they could execute their vision that would benefit the entire region, Sessa mentioned.

Meanwhile, the Grant family mentioned that it is their honor to give back to the land of their native San Diego. They also hope that this park could give them a rest from the busy world around them.

Faith Kids

The Kids section on the church’s website said that the church is dedicated to showing individuals of all ages who Jesus is and who He wants His church to be. They added that they do their goal by giving appropriate learning experiences to different age groups. Women and men teach these children in an engaging, exciting, and caring approach.

Moreover, each age builds on previous basics and brings enjoyable aspects of knowing Jesus and His church. They emphasized that their Faith Kids team has undergone background checks and training to handle the children. They assure that there are two to three teachers in each room.

Sundays Also for Kids

Meanwhile, the church believes that Sunday should be the best day of the week. The church informed parents that their children would be motivated to mature spiritually at all ages through their Kids' Ministry program. They could do this through a fun and dedicated team.

The children could also create lasting friendships with other kids during their Sunday activities. The website mentioned that they want to assist families in nurturing healthy kids in their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. They understand the effectiveness of working with parents. They added that kids would have the chance to participate in Bible study, worship, prayer, and service. They would also experience fun fellowship in the said ministry.
