Horizon Christian Fellowship encourages women members to join the I Am Conference as Mindi Love, from Calvary Castlerock (CO), leads them through the seven “I am” statements of Jesus in the book of John from May 20 to May 21 at Base Camp, San Diego.

The church’s announcement stated that women would be motivated by the security of these statements. Also, through this conference, participants would experience Jesus speaking directly to their hearts in a way that they could understand and connect with, the website noted.

I AM Conference

Mindy Love revealed in her video that she is the older sister of Pastor Philip of Horizon Christian Fellowship. She stated that she anticipates being with the church's women to look intently at the statements that Jesus made about His claims of being God.

In John Chapter Eight, Jesus told the Pharisees that He was I am. It would have resonated with them that in Exodus Chapter Three, God told Moses that His name was I am; therefore, Jesus was claiming to be God, Love added.

Besides, she told in her video that Jesus made seven statements in John, which begin with the phrase “I am.” According to Love, Jesus said, “I am the bread of life,” “I am the light of the earth,” and so on. If Jesus is I am, He is able, Love noted.

Mindi Love: Women’s Ministry Leader

The Calvary Castle Rock website revealed that Love accepted the Lord at a very young age while attending Sunday School at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. They noted that she surrendered her life to Godin here early twenties after a life of comfortability as a teen and early college student.

In 1991, they mentioned that Love married her husband, Dave. Then after three years, they moved to Colorado with their 18-month-old daughter. Afterward, they planted the Horizon Christian Fellowship in Littleton, CO. The website noted that she served in women’s ministry and supervised the bookstore. Then the Lord called her husband to help at Calvary Castle Rock after 17 years in Littleton.

They added that Love continues to work in the Women’s Ministry at Castle Rock. She has the heart to see a woman mature in the Lord Jesus with longingness for His word. The website added that Love enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her children.

Renew Women of Horizon Christian Fellowship

In addition to the said conference, Horizon Christian Fellowship conducts Women’s Bible Study. The church's website noted that they invite other ladies to join them as their Renew Women’s Study starts back up. According to them, they anticipated studying the book of Joshua.

Together with the teachings from Bethany Macintosh weekly, they would also go through the workbook “Live Fearlessly” by Lenya Hetzig and Penny Rose.

Their Bible Study started on Feb 1 and Feb 2. As of now, they are meeting every Tuesday at 6 p.m. and Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Besides, their previous studies are based on the book of Genesis, wherein they had ten-week meetings to complete the topic of Lessons for the Women of Genesis.
