Journey Community Church engages in Pathway

The Journey Community Church launches Discovering Mission for its Pathway Class this Jan. 25 through Feb. 25. The workshop is from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the church – Men's Ministry Plaza Room.

Discover Mission at Pathway Class

The church will begin its Pathway Class: Discovering Mission as per its website. Every Tuesday, starting Janu.ary 25 through Feb. 15, participants will meet at the Men's Ministry Plaza Room from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The workshop will examine various assessments to discover individuals' God-given personality traits and strengths. Discovering Mission will also investigate ways to discern the Lord's mission for each person that aligns with those unique personality traits and strengths.

Lastly, the workshop aims to guide participants to identify their next steps into their calling and mission.

Journey Community Church will hold Hope on similar dates – an elective class. This one is hosted by the Women's Ministry and will occur at the Corner Room from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The class is organized for those who feel that their life is not a good one. It is an opportunity for those who resigned themselves to despair and poured all their energy into overthinking what is to come, recharging, taking back their power, and starting a new story.

Participants in Hope class will discover stories about the power of hope from the scripture. Moreover, they will learn to grow in confidence in the good story the Lord is writing for their lives.

Body, Sex, and Relationships: Living in Our World with Grace and Truth is another Pathway Class happening every Monday from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Encounter Room.

The schedule for this class is on January 24, 31, February 7, and 21. Participating in this class series will enable one to sort out and answer rhetoric swirling around one regarding the body, sex, and relationships.

It makes individuals live in a world with truth and grace. Participants will identify prevailing thoughts and ideas that bring destruction to the human experience of sex, love, and relationships.

Moreover, this class is an opportunity to learn how to fight them with Jesus' direction to the kind of life that enjoys prosperity.

The church invites everyone to come and learn how to flourish with people who matter – people loved and cared for in a way that radiates both the truth and grace.

Journey Community Church

Journey Community Church is located at 8363 Center Drive Suite 6C, La Mesa, CA 91942. Worship services happen on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

As per its website, this faith community believes that the church should be different. Everyone should feel welcome, and the church should be experienced as the most genuine place on the planet.

According to the church, people can come as they are. Journey's "line on the sand" is grace. Its mission is to help ordinary people disconnected from the Lord access the depth of life "with God" through His Son – Jesus.
