Serving Homeless Women

As the Catholic Charities website explains, Rachel's Women’s Center seeks to offer a secure and supportive environment for vulnerable women. They noted that they are helping women with little or no resources to start and continue living independently.

In addition, Rachel’s program desires to deal with the leading causes of homelessness for women. According to the website, communities are being created that value people's differences and needs.

As further explained, they offer room to impact and transform these women's lives. The center said it is a place for women who do not have shelter and those who earn a meager income.

The website also emphasized that they are giving out clothes.

More importantly, at the center, they are helping those who are alcohol and drug abused to recover, as posted on the website. They offer mental health screening and refer them to their on-site resource specialist.

Rachel’s Night Shelter
