Raise Fund for Camp
The Legacy Youth conducted a fundraiser last February 6 at Panda Express, as shared on Facebook. The effort was intended to raise money and help the Legacy Church – Youth Ministry get to HUME Lake.
The fundraiser started at 10:30 a.m. through 9 p.m. 20% of sales during the event would be donated to Legacy Church – Youth Ministry. The organizers provided a promo code 332904 for purchasing items during the event day.
Hume Lake Christian Camps is located at 64144 Hume Lake Rd., Hume. Its camps offer opportunities for campers to accept Jesus as their savior, grow their faith, and develop their Christian Character.
Additionally, one of the camps’ missions is to establish the priorities of prayer, Bible study, and Christian fellowship while associating with a local church. The camps also aim to ignite the desire and commitment to serve the Lord Jesus at home and abroad.
Legacy Church, San Diego
According to its webpage, this faith community comprises people from all walks of life. Members are diverse in age and have various cultural backgrounds.
Nonetheless, their desire to know Jesus binds them together. As stated on the Legacy Church website, its members gather and come to Him as people who accept that God is the only one who can transform their lives.
Through Christ, everyone can experience the life transformation of immediate selves and for generations to come. Legacy Church aspires to have children, and their children’s children have Christ as their foundation.
Worship happens every Sunday at 9 a.m. The church gathers in–person and online. The Prayer Team at Legacy Church focuses on prayer requests. As stated on the webpage, the team observes confidentiality.
When people mark a prayer as confidential, only the members of the Pastoral Care Staff see those requests.
As per its Facebook, Legacy Church is located at 970 Los Vallecitos Blvd., San Marcos. Its recent post dated February 6 also announced a new location and new service time.
During the height of Covid – 19 pandemic Legacy Church San Diego, through its website, informed its people of its measures in ensuring the safety of its community and continued worship.
Its Lgcy Cares information section on the website stated that while Covid may have physically separated church members, it like to think that they have never been more closely connected.
With this thought, the church assured everyone that the staff was constantly praying over the situation. According to the church, it was not only praying for Legacy but also for all humanity. It trusts that God is in control.
Legacy Church San Diego appealed to its people to take this opportunity to draw closer to the Lord.
Moreover, the church informed that it maintained a close connection with all federal, state, county, and city policies to stay informed of the situation. It followed a reliable list of information for planning, management, and educational purposes.
