For Comfort, Joy at Just in Time for Foster Youth
The Mission Hills United Church of Christ Youth Group gave 100 gift bags to the Just in Time for Foster Youth organization. As shared on its website, MHUCC Youth Group, through Fiona Case and Dan Carlin, handed gifts to the young people at the organization.
The Youth Group at Mission Hills United Church of Christ created the bags stuffed with chocolate, scented candles, and socks.
Meanwhile, Tasha Matthews, Civic/Faith Specialist at Just in Time for Foster Youth, expressed appreciation for the gifts. According to the post on MHUCC's Facebook page, Matthews stated that giving a gift bag with items like chocolate, scented candles, and fuzzy socks focused on the youth's comfort and joy over the holiday season was lovely.
The church described this event on its Facebook page as #comfortandjoy and #youth group.
