All moms at Redeemer’s Grace Church are invited to join their pool party as they begin the summer with a splash on June 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Tyler Way, San Diego.
The church’s Instagram post stated that it would be a time of fun in the pool and a testimony from their fellow moms about their learning in motherhood. They added that they could bring their kids and meet other moms as they walked through motherhood.
Besides, they mentioned that it would be an enjoyable time for the entire family. The church also said they are excited about having mothers at the event.
Not Forsaking Assemblies
The church events section highlighted the verse from Hebrews 10:25 that says they should not neglect their assembling, as it is what the others are doing, but encourage each other.
In line with this, the Membership webpage revealed that Redeemer’s Grace Church takes the membership method very seriously.
They said that they are a church established upon members' service. Also, they said they are a church that firmly believes that a committed congregation of men and women is vital in effectively preaching the Gospel and serving in the temple.
Moreover, they believe that membership in a church is biblical. Therefore, it should be practiced to assist in building the church. They added that membership is for the congregations so that church-goers can set a God-honoring precedent for all other members. This commitment is for the congregants to motivate and grow on their spiritual walk.
The webpage also noted that this process is for their leadership to care for the members and attendees weekly. The church conducts membership sessions over the year. They hold membership interviews and classes, as posted on their website.
Social Support More Essential to Mothers
Lauren Miller’s post on the Kindred Bravely website says being a mother is the most sacrificing job. Yet it is also a soul-fulfilling work in the world.
She added that every mom does it uniquely. Some are stay-at-home mothers, working exhaustedly around the clock to run the household.
Others, she said, work full-time outside the home and change between their professional and parenting roles before and after work every day. Miller also noted that some mothers have a partner while others do it independently.
However, all mothers desire the best for their kids, she revealed.
The reality is that parents will deal with challenges along the way.
The website mentioned that mothers who support each other on their motherhood journeys are better for it.
As the blog post added, they could be more assertive by celebrating their differences and allowing them to grow rather than dividing them.
One benefit mentioned is that mothers could make new friends and make their current relationships deeper. Miller said that nothing forms a connection faster than a shared experience.
She said something about discussing projectile vomiting and the color of a baby’s stools bringing individuals together.
She said finding someone who can relate to both the struggles and joys they face as moms can make those tough days so much more bearable.
