U.S. olympian Sydney McLaughlin got married to his partner and former NFL player, Andre Levrone Jr. last Friday, May 6, in a Christ-centered ceremony. The wedding was officiated by Greg Hendricks, pastor of The Rock Church in San Diego.

When it comes to their Christian faith on social media, Sydney McLaughlin and Andre Levrone Jr. are two of the most vocal.
In a series of wedding images, Levrone revealed how he incorporated Scripture into his big day. The verse 1 John 4:19 was inscribed on the tongue of his tennis shoe by the former University of Virginia wide receiver.
The Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, Virginia, was the location of the couple's wedding, according to McLaughlin's images. Church pastor Greg Hendricks, of The Rock Church in San Diego, presided at the wedding ceremony, as reported by People.
According to The Christian Post, Chandler Moore and a gospel group performed during the emotional exchange of wedding vows between the couple. People didn't say whether the gospel group was Maverick City Music or if it was a separate group altogether.
This was disclosed in August 2021, when the 22-year-old Olympic hurdler announced her engagement to Levrone, who was then 27 years old and swore then to love his future wife as "Christ loved the Church."
According to McLaughlin, It was easy for the outspoken Christian to fall in love with Levrone because of his devotion to his faith.
"May we never love one another cautiously, but instead always be eager to love one another extravagantly, in the manner that Christ loved the Church," Levrone wrote on his Instagram account, as quoted in the report.
The report also stated that just three weeks after setting a new world mark in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 51.46 seconds at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the couple announced their engagement.
In addition, Sports Spectrum revealed that In the NFL, Levrone went undrafted but was signed as a free agent and played for Baltimore, Carolina, and Jacksonville before retiring at age 25.
