Gathering Christmas Service Project happens on Dec. 18 at Shadow Mountain Community Church. It will be a productive day at the church, and the event is from 12:00 noon – 8:30 p.m.

Gathering Christmas Service Project

Shadow Mountain Community Church requests its members to join a project for serving those in need this Christmas. As indicated on its webpage, the church gave details about its Gathering Christmas Service Project.

The event includes lunch in the Gathering Room. Participants will also help prepare care packages and practice sharing the Gospel.

Then, all will head downtown to give out care packages and share the Gospel to the homeless. When the group accomplishes its tasks, they will head back to attend Saturday Night Service together. A movie in the Gathering Room will end the group’s day.

Shadow Mountain instructed participants to bring a Bible, notebook, pen, water bottle, a backpack, a jacket, and a change of clothes for the service if they wanted.

The church also provided a link for registration to the Gathering Christmas Service Project.

Christmas Celebrations

This Dec. Shadow Mountain welcomes Christmas by hosting events for all ages. These include Winter Blast and Young Adult Christmas Banquet.

Winter Blast

Shadow Mountain announces Winter Blast, a great time for kids to have fun this holiday. As per its webpage, it encourages parents to sign up their kids for this event.

Winter Blast is open for the first – fifth grades. Children will experience a fun and exciting Christmas Rally, Extreme Culinary or Creative Experiences.

The church prepared a lot more for the kids. It’s a two–day event.

Shadow Mountain lined up a series of activities for the first day. Kids can engage in Creative Experiences, which include Messy Art, Extreme Hydro Dripping, and Face-Off. At the same time, children will experience preparing food. The culinary experiences include Kids in the Kitchen, Cupcake Challenge, and Diced Kids.

The second day will be a day at BOOMERS in Vista. Shadow Mountain provided a link for registration.

Young Adult Christmas Banquet

The Young Adult s Christmas Banquet is coming soon at Shadow Mountain. It will be on Dec. 11 in Room 341. The church invites all to come and join them at its annual – year-end celebration.

It invites everyone to come to church after they celebrate at home.

There will be a catered dinner, live music, a show, and more for a fee of only $22. The banquet will be on a Saturday. It encourages those who want to dress up, invite a friend, and celebrate Christmas with the SMCC Young Adult Ministry.

The church provided a link for registration. Those who want to join are required to register by Dec. 11. Shadow Mountain Community Church wants everyone to experience this banquet as much as possible.

The church provided gluten-free and vegetarian options for the meal; the person needs to indicate preference in the registration.

Moreover, the banquet is a family-friendly event. For parents in the ministry, kids ten and under are free with a paid adult. Registration is also needed for the kids, so parents should sign up for them simultaneously.

The church reminded that if finances are an issue, one should contact the church. Shadow Mountain wants everyone to come.
