We See You San Diego at Resolved Church asks for donations

We See You San Diego at The Resolved Church appeals to the public for donations to restock its Hygiene Supply Bar. The bar caters to those in need around San Diego.   

Donations Needed, We See You San Diego

From sharing comforting meals to making sure all feel warm, and accepted, We See You San Diego’s effort in reaching out to the homeless continues. We See You San Diego consistently finds ways to serve its neighbors in need. 

As reported on KUSI News, Good Morning San Diego, this organization at The Resolved Church appeals for donations to go in its Hygiene Supply Bar. KUSI’s Jenny Milkowski visited We See You San Diego and found out how the Hygiene Supply Bar and its dinner party help those in need. 

As stated by Laura, We See You San Diego aspires to help people transform their lives and assist them to get off the street. The Hygiene Drive will happen simultaneously with the dinner party at The Resolved Church. 

We See You San Diego provides a Hygiene Bar for its guests at their weekly dinner party. In line with this, it is seeking donations for its Hygiene Drive. According to the report, the Hygiene Bar needs lotion, baby wipes, toilet paper, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, hairbrushes, razor, body wash, and soap. 

We See You, San Diego, Hygiene Drive also accepts first aid kit items such as Hydrogen Peroxide, bandages, medical tape, etc. 

As shared on Facebook, donations are accepted every Tuesday at The Resolved Church from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. We See You San Diego will help unload cars for donations. 

One of the previous guests, Candace, shared that one of the most challenging things about living in the streets is being dirty. According to her, it is so hard to get clean when homeless. She was a guest who turned into a volunteer. After two years of Sobriety and total life change, Candance now leads the We See You San Diego recovery team. 

Serving Meals, Restoring Dignity, Offering Hope  

Jenny Milkowski shared this non–profit organization started serving the homeless five years ago. It began with serving eight people home-cooked meals. Currently, it is serving over 150 people. 

Laura Chez, founder of We See You San Diego, provided details on how this project works. According to Laura, they give a dinner party to their neighbors in need. The dinner is always home – a cooked meal. 

Moreover, it’s a completely blown dinner party. They serve the homeless every Tuesday at 5 p.m. We See You San Diego includes a live band and raffle prizes at the dinner party. 

According to Laura, they also celebrate the homeless birthdays. We See You San Diego makes sure that those in need feel accepted and loved. Moreover, the organization aims that they restore their dignity. 

As stated on its website, the mission of We See You San Diego is to nurture a peaceful, safe, loving environment where neighbors in need are treated as honored guests and served the very best it must give.
