Pastor John R. Butcher, Sr is the pastor and founder of Blueprint Ministries and The Building Christian Fellowship. Pastor John affectionately known as John 3:30 has recognized and accepted his call to teach and preach the Word of God and to do all he can to unite the body of Christ. Pastor John was raised in Suisun, Ca by his loving parents Thomas Sr and Beverly Butcher and accompanied by 3 sisters and 1 brother. John was a star athlete at Armijo high school and excelled in football and track, but because of bad choices John ended up in the Bay Area street life which lead to many arrests, jail time, and some lifelong scars. Through all his bad choices and many close calls with death the grace of God has kept and preserved Pastor John. God turned the mess that John struggled through and turned it into a message of hope, restoration and new beginnings that Pastor John continues to share with others at every opportunity presented.
Pastor John dedicated his life to Christ in Washington D.C. while serving in the U.S. Army, the Lord used a mighty man of God to speak into Pastor John’s life in a way that he could no longer ignore the calling of God. John began to dive into the scriptures with constant mentoring from his mentor and Pastor; Elder Mike Harry, Sr. John began to know God like never before.
Pastor John began serving in his local church “The Love of Christ” in Alexandria, Va. , where he served at the ministry for the full term of his military career that ended in 2003. After leaving the military, Pastor John re-located to Fairfield, CA where he resides today with his wife Kaiya and four children John Jr, Jowahn, Judah, and Heaven.
In 2008 Pastor John accepted the call of Pastor and is currently the founder and Pastor of ” Blueprint Ministries” and “The Building” Christian Fellowship” where his God given mission is to teach Christians how to become the church by becoming a friend of God, and to use their God given talents and abilities for the glory of God.
