A Christian Response to Police Brutality
a 10-week study group, 7 PM Tuesdays starting June 29, led by Amanda Samuel
What is a Christian response to police brutality? How might we reflect theologically as we move toward love and justice? This study group will use a course developed by the Mennonite Church USA to meet together once a week and explore police and prison abolition from an Anabaptist perspective. Rather than take specific policy positions, we will seek to better understand the issues involved so that we can envision a more just theology as well as a more just society together.
