About this Event

About this event

Sound has been used in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Sound has the ability to assist us to calm down our nervous system and shift from our sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight)into our parasympathetic nervous system. Our subtle body acts as memory storage and the sound bath accompanied with breath consciousness can help us reduce what we consciously and unconsciously hold onto, including trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD as well as other mental and physical ailments. Sound can also help us connect to creative ideas and inspirations or tap into altered states of consciousness.

The Logos Method's the tune up can also assist you to experience deep peace. When we quiet our mind, and allow for space between our thoughts we connect to the animating principal pervading the universe.

Now more than ever we need avenues to calm our nervous system and re-energize ourselves. Come take care of your own temple and give your self a tune up in the beautiful sanctuary at Congregational Church of San Mateo, lead by Chuck.

Masks will be worn. Vaccination cards required. The sanctuary holds 400 and we are limiting the number of tickets to 50 seats and 10 on the floor and plenty of social distance seating in the Pews. Floor spaces need to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45pm. People with seats arrive no later than 3:50pm.

Doors open at 4:30. Event begins at 5:00pm. Doors lock at 5:05pm.

Members of CCSM qualify for the $15 discounted tickets.

Give yourself the gift and come feel what it is like to let go of your mind and feel the vibrations at the sound bath.

Past Participants keep coming back. Here is what they have to say:

" I did not want it to end."

" A sound bath is sublime. It requires zero effort to get maximum benefit. "

"My body relaxed and my thoughts quieted within the first 5 minutes, and by the end, I felt a deep peace."

" It filled my inner reservoir and I was able to draw on this peace for days after."
