JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and at least two years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center; three semester units in administration or staff relations and two-year administrative experience in a childcare center. Must successfully pass background check.
  • Have knowledge of Title 22 general licensing requirements.

Work experience to include:

  • Operating as the lead point for all matters related to enrollment.
  • Account management skills.
  • Substantial bookkeeping, budgeting, and collections experience.
  • Build and maintain strong long lasting customer relationships.
  • Preferred experience with Word; Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Supervision, time management, and coverage scheduling.
  • Flexible hours: able to run operations in absence of Executive Director
  • Ability to supervise and work closely with Executive Director, Office Staff and Teaching staff.
  • Ability to evaluate staff.

Job Position: Full-time

Salary Range: $38,500.00 to $,50,000.00/year, depending on educational background and experience.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This position is considered full-time and exempt for an average of 40 hours per week, although more or fewer hours could be necessary at certain times and could be arranged in partnership with the Lead Pastor of Community Outreach and Session. Vacation, sick leave, and other terms of employment shall be as provided per the Personnel Policies and Practices Manual of Session.

Any person assuming this position will have read and agreed to be subject to the terms and conditions of the Personnel Policies and Practices Manual of the First Presbyterian Church of Hayward, including an understanding that any employment agreement will depend upon a satisfactory background check and a satisfactory explanation of irregularities. The background check may include but is not limited to clearances by a background search agency to review for criminal records, education verification, Social Security trace, license or credential verification, previous employment verification, previous credit, DMV, etc.

Pay: $38,500.00 - $50,000.00 per year
