The Church by the Side of the Road is an interdenominational Christian Church. We are a Bible-Based church seeped in African American traditions. The duties of the Interim Pastor are varied. They will:
Provide general directions and spiritual leadership in collaboration with Church leaders.
Work cooperatively with Church leaders to provide strategies to meet the Church’s visions and goals.
Promote understanding and unity within the Church.
Provide three (3) live sermons per month of 20 to 30 minutes in the Sunday worship service.
Lead worship services in conjunction with Church leaders.
Provide an Interim Pastor’s Report at quarterly Congregational Meetings (4 per year).
Attend the monthly Board of Trustees meetings.
The position requires 20 hours per week. Salary negotiable. We are an equal opportunity employer.
