PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Director of Asset Management, the St. Boniface Church Property Manager (SBC-PM) provides regular and emergency maintenance services for the St. Boniface Church (SBC) property, including the church building, a connected residential friary, and a connected private school (“Constituents”). The SBC-PM will work within the St. Anthony Foundation organization and management structure, but also will interface regularly with the Franciscan Friars, representatives of the DeMarillac Academy, and the Archdiocese of San Francisco, as an agent of St. Anthony’s. Organizes and staffs maintenance and janitorial services for SBC. In consultation with Director of Asset Management, is responsible for contracting maintenance services, as well as overseeing site security systems. The SBC-PM should adhere to St. Anthony’s policies and procedures, while also exhibiting exemplary attendance and punctuality habits.

MAJOR DUTIES:
Under direction of the Director of Asset Management, provides information, recommendations and assists with long-range planning for SBC. Advises on feasibility of maintenance projects and capital improvements. Responsible for coordination and integration of SBC services

Responsible for soliciting and monitoring contracts with outside firms for necessary maintenance services and develops appropriate operations policies and procedures for SBC.

Assists in monitoring and coordination of building/capital improvement, space requirement projects as required

Provides for ongoing evaluation of services and service delivery to ensure quality and responsiveness to Constituent needs.

Oversees planning, purchase and maintenance of all major equipment, including security, fire safety energy program systems, and two commercial kitchens. Oversees purchasing and inventory of maintenance, janitorial supplies and furnishings and responsible for related Constituent communication and information flows.

Develops and maintains preventive maintenance plan for all SBC programs. Ensures maintenance of SBC, according to all applicable regulations, standards and codes

Organizes preparation of an annual assessment of services, buildings, capital equipment and space requirement needs as part of budgetary process. Maintains quality and fiscal control of SBC.

Develops information for annual budget regarding SBC, and monitors responsible use of resources. Provides support to Constituents on areas of shared costs and engagement.

Prepares annual report on the condition of SBC in all areas related to maintenance and use of building and connected properties. Prepares other reports, analyses and documentation as requested.

This position requires being on-call for after hours emergencies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Four years’ experience in management of facilities and/or property management experience; nonprofit experience preferred.

B.A. in business or related field; or professional certification in facilities management, trade, or guild, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted

Excellent inter-personal, listening, verbal, written communication and conflict resolution skills.

Collaborative experience in project management and team-enhancing skills.

Excellent planning, organizational and facilitation skills.

Ability to effectively develop and manage budgets and resources.

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products required.

Ability to set limits, prioritize, and handle time-sensitive situations.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, to work a flexible schedule with occasional evenings, and to be on call for emergencies.

Valid California Driver’s License and excellent driving record required.
