Minimum Requirements:
Possesses a master’s degree from an accredited professional school of social work or university preparing students for California licensure as an LCSW, MFT or psychologist.

Possesses a license as an LCSW, MFT, or psychologist or be a registered MFT Intern or MSW Associate with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Cultural competence: African American, Latino, traumatized populations

Knowledge and skills of principles, models, and techniques of intensive clinical case management with a focus on impoverished and violence impacted communities.

Knowledge of laws, ethics and regulations governing mental health counseling and crisis management.

Knowledge of short-term and long-term counseling. This must include individual counseling with children, as well as family counseling or group counseling.

Knowledge of laws and regulations governing counseling sufficient to guide practice with regular supervision.

Knowledge of community resources, especially related to trauma informed practice, restorative justice or chronically traumatized communities is highly desirable.

Knowledge of Restorative Practices a plus.

Ability to drive to and from schools and community meetings in personal vehicle.

Willingness to participate and contribute to agency quality improvement activities.

Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and access to reliable incurred vehicle

Fingerprinting and background check with clearance to work with children and youth

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Restorative Practices a plus.

Salary: Starting at $64,200
