The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of marketing the facilities of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Primary attention will be paid to increasing the church's use as a venue for weddings, performances, rehearsals, meetings, and other community and/or special projects. This role also manages all social media accounts for the church and coordinates janitorial and security services for special events.
Primary Duties & responsibilities:
*Show and market rental spaces at the church.
*Represent St. Mark's at area marketing conferences and networking events.
*Manage all aspects of St. Mark's social media accounts.
*Create and coordinate all publicity for St. Mark's
*Communicate with Facilities staff regarding setting up for Sunday worship services and maintenance of all spaces.
*Coordinate annual winter homeless shelter.
*Generate and manage all space use contracts in concert with Accounting office.
*Generate monthly reports for Council meetings on marketing activities and event bookings.
*Attend weekly staff meetings, annual congregation meetings and other committee meetings as assigned.
*Other duties as needed.
