This position has primary responsibility for the delivery of restorative services designed to improve the outcomes of high-risk youth. The primary goal of the program is to help youth navigate challenges in/while in school. S/he will act as a liaison and an advocate for their students and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders. The school-based Case Manager will work closely with Senior Management to ensure all high-risk students working with CCEB receive quality support. The school-based Case Manager will serve students through individual case management services, as well as group facilitation. The school-based Case Manager will also act as the front-line Kennedy Health Center Administrative Assistant when not meeting directly with students to help triage incoming students and support the Health Center.
Responsibilities:
Key Area One:

Facilitating restorative practice interventions as needed to respond to emerging community or agency needs through case management and routine check ins.

Carry a case load of students and support students through group facilitation.

Implementation of restorative practices and restorative justice of philosophy, principles, models, and techniques with a focus on violence-impacted communities of color.
Key Area Two:

Developing and maintaining relationships with key personnel and agencies in community, school, and justice systems, relevant collaborative groups, and workgroups, and within Catholic Charities
Key Area Three:

Be able to advocate for student needs with the school community.

Community outreach and engagement to increase program reach to target audience

Support Parent/family engagement and school wide activities.
Key Area Four:

Maintaining program data collection requirements

Ability to produce timely, clear and concise documentation and assistance for each client.

Willingness to participate in CCEB quality assurance activities as specified by the agency.

Ability to connect and refer to outside agencies to support needs of client.
Key Area Five:
-
Serve as the student liaison responding to student inquiries for Health Center services. Assess student needs and provide students with appropriate program information.

Respond to students who may be experiencing emotional crisis and refer to appropriate staff for support

Support Kennedy High School with managing Health Center and infrastructure needs – room use, supplies, equipment, keys etc.

Social work, mental health, education or youth services education, training or experience.

Experience providing capacity-building services

Experience facilitating restorative practice interventions or other types of youth/adult supports
-
Ability to provide services in Spanish a plus.

Experiencing coordinating services and resources for client needs.

Experience providing education or training to adults; experience providing training in restorative practices is highly desirable

Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and access to reliable insured vehicle
-
Negative result TB test, Fingerprinting and background check with clearance to work with children and youth
