POSITION SUMMARY

The Student Services Recruitment Administrator is a full-time, exempt, two-year staff position responsible for all non-academic administrative aspects of student life, and administrative support for recruitment and admissions processes. This two-year appointment may be renewable at the mutual agreement of CDSP and the employee.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Student Services and Recruitment for on-site visitation experiences of prospective students.
  • Oversee and manage the marketing of all degree and certificate programs, coordinating with the Communications department.
  • Coordinate all student academic accommodations.
  • Coordinate student health insurance administration.
  • Oversee student workers for the weekly BlueSheet, an internal newsletter publication.
  • Organize student orientations in June, August, and January.
  • Organize faculty facilitators for General Ordination Examination (GOE) preparation and be the CDSP Liaison to administer the GOE.
  • Coordinating with the Director, implement the Student Formation program each semester.
  • Serve as DSO for SEVIS for CDSP's international students.
  • Adhere to confidentiality rules and other CDSP policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Perform all duties to promotes CDSP's mission and core values.
  • Assume other related responsibilities and special projects as required.

  • Deep knowledge of the polity and governance of The Episcopal Church.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize and manage large amounts of confidential data efficiently.
  • Ability to interact with people no matter their age, race, ethnicity, gender identity.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong administrative and collegial skills.

  • Commitment to the ministerial formation of students.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in theological studies (MDiv, MTS, MA) (preferred).
  • Experience working in The Episcopal Church.
  • Experience in student services in higher education (preferred).
  • Experience ministering in multiethnic, multicultural, and LGBTQ+ contexts (preferred).
