Full Job Description
City Church San Francisco is looking for additional sound techs / audio engineers to build out our rotating team. You will be responsible for set up, running sound, and tear down of our Sunday service audio requirements.
Calltime at 7am on Sunday mornings at Lower Pac Heights in San Francisco (Divisidero & Sutter)
Pay is $45/hr with a minimum Sunday call of 5 hours. A typical Sunday will go from 7am-12pm and pay is $225. Some Sundays where we have a larger ensemble will run an hour longer which is paid at the same hourly rate additional.
There are always 2 engineers every Sunday to set up, run sound and tear down so you would never be setting up/tearing down alone.
The typical Sunday audio setup is:
A drummer, a bassist, a pianist, a guitarist who also sings lead, a backup singer, an aux instrumentalist of some kind (organ, cello, etc).
In addition to doing mixes/sound for the music, there are 3 pastors/speakers who require mic-ing (lavs), etc.
This wouldn't be every Sunday but would be a rotating schedule. It's well suited for morning people.
