Position Summary:
This position has primary responsibility for the delivery of restorative services to individuals, youth and families directly and indirectly impacted by violence as a part of the Mental Health and Violence Prevention team.

The primary goal of the program is to provide culturally relevant; trauma responsive grief and healing supports to those impacted by violence. VPRP Coordinator will coordinate and deliver services for individuals, youth and families in office, schools, private homes and other community settings. He/She will act as a liaison and an advocate for their clients and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

VPRP Coordinator will work closely with CCEB team members, Department of Violence Prevention (DVP) partners and other stakeholders to ensure a continuum of care and support for grieving clients.

Responsibilities:
Key Area One:
Implementation of restorative practices and restorative justice of philosophy, principles, models, and techniques with a focus on violence-impacted communities of color.
Facilitating restorative practice circles as needed to support violence impacted to individuals, youth and families and other emerging community or agency needs

Key Area Two:
Developing and maintaining relationships with key DVP partners, community members, relevant collaborative groups and workgroups, and within Catholic Charities
Ability engages with and build rapport with violence impacted to individuals, youth and families.
Facilitating restorative practice circles as needed to support DVP partners to mitigate the effects of traumatic stress within the partner network

Key Area Three:
Producing resources to support program goals and activities, e.g., for publicity or training
Community outreach and engagement to increase program reach to target audience

Key Area Four:
Maintaining program data collection requirements
Ability to produce timely, clear and concise documentation.
Willingness to participate in CCEB quality assurance activities as specified by the agency.

Minimum Requirements

Social work, mental health, education or youth services education, training or experience.
Experience providing capacity-building services
Experience facilitating restorative practice interventions or other types of youth/adult supports
Experience providing education or training to adults; experience providing training in restorative practices is highly desirable
Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and access to reliable insured vehicle
Negative result TB test, Fingerprinting and background check with clearance to work with children and youth

Salary: TBD, Part-Time
