Wellness COUNSELOR
Part-time
Mercy High School, an all-girls college preparatory secondary school has an opening for a
part-time Wellness counselor starting in November.
The candidate will support the full-time wellness counselor with student needs. The counselor inbounds social emotional issues/needs, provides short-term individual counseling, and partners will relevant community members to ensure student wellbeing.
Minimal qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- School counseling or related master’s degree
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor preferred
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Google Suite skills
- Strong computer and SMS/SLS skills
- Prior work experience in school setting
Position requires the candidate to work up to 20 hours per week. Must also be able to attend some additional meetings in late afternoons or evenings. Salary based on faculty salary scale, and is commensurate with experience and education of the applicant.
