Outcomes:
- Care for, cultivate, and grow our community of musicians through relational health and compassionate equipping.
- Please participate in all creative brainstorming sessions, thus having a voice and influence on how we communicate the Big Idea to our community.
- Use such platforms as Ableton, multitracks.com, Planning Center Online, Logic, and other similar tools to ensure that what we do on stage during our weekend gatherings sounds uniformly excellent.
- Collaborate with the Worship Pastor to keep a consistent tone and feel for how music and worship sound on CWC’s stage.
- Create stage plots and send out Planning Center Online plans.
- Chart and prepare all worship and performance songs using Planning Center Online and Ableton.
- Be the point person onstage who our team looks to when it comes to direction in the area of music. “Never the loudest, always the one who knows what’s going on.”
- Recruit, audition, and train new musicians so that our volunteer base allows us to grow continually in the things we attempt.
- Use those gifts alongside our worship pastor at our Sunday services if gifted in worship leading.
This job can be either a part-time or full-time position. (if full-time, it comes with a parsonage on-campus).*

- Sound tech, Ableton Live, Planning Center Online
- This role requires a high level of creative thinking and execution in a timely fashion.
- Attention to detail and love of how music and worship can affect the church is what makes this person tick.
- This person wants to get better at their daily work and be willing to learn and develop consistently.
- Communication and innovation will be required daily.
- Deadlines do not frighten this person.
- Teamwork is imperative.
Salary: This internship pays $21 an hour and is at least 20 hours per week. If the candidate and CrossWinds agree to make the position full-time (40 hours), the position requires living in a one-bedroom house on campus, where an expense of $1800 per month is deducted from the cost of rent (below market cost for the Bay Area).
